OUR NEXT WEEKEND
This past weekend even more fun than the reunion. We got stuck in FL (hahaha). Yes really. Sat we were in Orlando and then Sun we were in Cresent Beach. Which is abot 30 miles north of Daytona Beach. We spent the day at the beach. We were like 2 kids in the water and the sand. We were way out with the guys on the surf boards. The wind was blowing and the waves were really big. The tropical storm was in Fl. So the ocean was really churning. We stayed out in the water til we could hardly stand up. We picked up sea shells and dug for those little things in the sand. Then we went back in the water. I think we like getting beat up by the waves. It was a wonderful day. After we cleaned up in the knock-off showered. We went to this little place called the South Beach Grill for a late lunch. We sat outside by the beach at some tables with people who were locals. We had fresh seafood specials. It was very good. Afterwards we headed back to the truckstop. We had such a good time. It seems like when we get a day off like that, with no warning, It always turns out great. We always find something in the area to do. BUT who would have ever thought we would get 2 days off in Fl in the summertime. NOT me, thats for sure. But as they say, all good things must come to an end. We got loaded this morning and are now headed to New York. But even thats not bad. We will be able to have lunch tomorrow in Pa with my folks. It will be good to see them. Its been about 2 1/2 months since we've been through Pa. I do miss them alot. Last friday on the way to Fl. we stopped in Ga to see my daughter. She was so excited. I miss her lots tooo. She soo beautiful and as is my granddaughter, Hannah. A little spoiled weed, she is. Well, thats about all for today.
REUNION UPDATED
I guess the first thing i need to do is tell you about Les's reunion. There was almost 200 people present. It was great. Les and his sisters got to talk to relatives they hadn't seen in 40 years. There were cousins there from Ca, Wa, Or and Ut. His sister and kids came from Az. And his sister from Or ,and her husband, neither who i've met before, were there. They have an uncle still living in Blackfoot and he was there. His name is Moran and he's 86. He looks great. We made nametags for everyone. They talked and cryed all day. We went around the tables and everyone introducted themselves. Telling us about their families and how they were related to one another. Which was nice for me, being new and all. The day was wonderful for my husband and his sisters. It was alot of work but was soooo worth it seeing their faces when people walked up to them. Next year i hope to find some more of the family i couldn't find this year. I think everyone was sad when the sun went down and the evening drew to a close. But we now have correct addresses and phone numbers for everyone. Our Christmas card list got very long that day. I had such a nice time. We had games for the kids and lots of candy. There was plenty of food and drink. We had a white elephant auction. and some guessing games for the adults. There was a swimming pool and also swing sets to play on. I can barely wait for next year.

Well we are in Wy today. Its been a fast trip since Chicago. Down through Il, then to Mo. to Ks and then Co. WOW! This country is so beautiful. I sometimes wonder why people leave here to vacation in other counries. there's so much to see here. I love going through the Denver area. All those prairie dogs running around between holes. There's also a place in Ks with a 60lb prairie dog. No kidding, there's a sign saying so. Soooo it must be true. And in Wy, all the anelopes in the hills eating. So much to see and enjoy. We are going to Ogden tonight and then on to Idaho tomorrow sometime. I have lots of errands to do friday. I'm hopiing Les will help me, i'm sure he will. I'll try and make sure i post the days he's off the road. And this should have a whole new look next week. At least i'm hoping so. Be care for now.

undate...hahaha
Well, its been forever and really this time i promise to keep this up. We've been so many different places since i posted last. It was Easter last time i posted here. We've been to every state but Me, Vt, and NH. Its amazing how we get around so fast. We just came the whole way across the country in the northern states from Wa to Il. Dropped the trailer last night in Romeoville, Il and reloaded for Harrisonville, Mo. It was my first time to Wi. I called my aunt in the twin cities, whom i havent seen in maybe 20 years. We tryed to make time to stop but couldn't. But next we are going to make time to stop for sure. I also talked to my cousin, Brian. I haven't seen him in 25 years. Hes grown with 3 kids now. Imagine that?
We are headed back to Idaho this week. Les's family reunion is this weekend. My reunion is also next Sunday, but back in Pa, of course. I was kind of in charge of it this year. Picking out the place and doing invitations. Theres lots of people coming that Les and his sisters haven't seen in like 25-30 years. Its going to be very exciting for them. This is only my 2nd year at the Hepworth-Hiatt reunion. And im sure to meet alot more family this year. And this blog will have an all new look to it. Les's hephew is going to show me how to put more pics, in the form of a slide show, on here. i can't hardly wait.
We are headed down a side road off I-72 through Mo. I'm hoping to find a fruit and veggie stand on the way. We got some wonderful tomatoes and peaches a few weeks ago in Ga. We ate the whole bags of 20 peaches in less than 2 days. they were great. We also got some green tomoates. When we got to Angie's (Les's daughter) house, she fried them up. They were very good.
Well im going to come back tomorrow and post again. I'm going to try and post everyday for Les's family to follow our travels. P.S. look for more pictures soon.
